As Mayor I would like to Thank the Council
for believing and having confidence in me to be Mayor.
I would also like to Thank the outgoing Mayor & Council
for all their time and work they have put into projects in our Community.
I am excited to serve our Community, to continue with projects and perhaps look at new ones.
I feel it is important to have residents involved in the decisions for our Village,
as we face unique and challenging times as we continue to grow.
I look forward to the challenges we will face together in the next 4 years.

About Council<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Village of Mannville Council fulfils the legislative function of the Village’s municipal government. Council is responsible for establishing corporate policy and setting the strategic priorities for Village staff on an annual basis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Village Council is comprised of a Mayor and five Councillors, who are elected by the citizens of Mannville every four years. The Mayor is the chief elected official of the municipality and has duties of both Councillor and Chief Elected Official.   Each member is extremely dedicated to this community, and each committed to doing the best job they can for the residents of Mannville – their friends, family and neighbours – and for the business sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Attending Meetings<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

All meetings are open to the public, and no person shall be excluded except for improper conduct. The only exception to limit access is when Council closes all or part of the meeting to the public (in closed session) to discuss confidential items. Attending Council meetings ca be an excellent way to understand how Council makes decisions. While the doors to Council Chambers are never locked during a meeting, attendees are encouraged to arrive early as not to disrupt the meeting. Public seating is located just inside the doors of Council Chambers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anytime throughout the year community groups, or organizations can request to make a presentation to Mannville Council as a Delegation at one of their regularly scheduled meetings.  These presentations are usually requested in order to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
